Good day chess fans!  In the fourth round of the Jermuk Women’s Grand Prix the participants took a break, at least as far as each other’s scalps are concerned.  For the first time, there were as many draws as wins, with only Chiburdanidze, Dzagnize, and Yifan registering victories.
The round 4 results: Mkrtchian Lilit - Kosintseva Tatiana ½ - ½; Chiburdanidze Maia - Fierro Martha 1-0; Dzagnidze Nana - Kovanova Baira 1-0; Shen Yang - Cramling Pia ½ - ½; Xu Yuhua - Danielian Elina ½ - ½; Hou Yifan - Stefanova Antoaneta 1-0. more

The third round of the Jermuk Women's Grand Prix was yet another fighting round, full of unyielding will and competitive spirit.  The results: Danielian - Yang 1-0; Yifan - Mkrtchian 1-0; Stefanova - Xuhua 1-0; Fierro - Kosintseva 0-1; Cramling - Dzagnidze 1/2-1/2; and Kovanova - Chiburdanidze 1/2-1/2.  After  3 rounds, the standings are as such: Kosintseva, Dzagnidze - 2.5; Mkrtchian, Stefanova, Danielian - 2, Chiburdanidze, Kovanova - 1.5, Cramling, Xuhua, Yang, Yifan - 1, and Fierro - 0: part1; part2
